“My Run” coming to DVD September 20th

                                

My Run is a documentary narrated by Academy Award Winning actor Billy Bob Thornton. The film has already received nationwide attention. One dollar of every dvd sold for the first year will be donated towards the Livestrong Foundation. In addition, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Sole 4 souls foundation, which provides shoes for children. The Film will be available on DVD September 20th by Virgil Films Ent.

Terry a 56 year old man has just lost his job and his wife to breast cancer. After an everyday struggle of raising 3 kids for 10 years. He decides to run from St. Paul, Minnesota to Atlanta, Georgia (where the Olympics were taking place that year).

Disregarding doctors, trainers, and others who doubt a man with the health issues that come with Terry’s age, He decides to run a 26 mile marathon a day for 75 days.

Terry’s incredible marathon included treks through freezing rain and record-breaking heat.  Despite chest pains, bone fractures and even a broken foot, he just kept running. Not stopping until he reached Atlanta.

 My Run has been critically acclaimed as “Remarkable (NY Indie Movie Examiner), “Unbelievable”(OC Screenwriters Association) and “An Inspiriting and emotional journey”(Orange County Movie Examiner) has already a number of awards including the “Audience Award” at the 2009 Austin Film Festival, “Best Documentary” at the 2009 Mammoth Film Festival, the “Grand Jury Prize” at the 2010 Las Vegas Film Festival, and the “Audience Award” at the DocMiami International Film Festival.
